B.Sc. Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate program in India that prepares students to become professional nurses, equipped to provide comprehensive healthcare. Regulated by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the course includes both theoretical studies and practical training through an integrated internship.
To be eligible, students must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and be at least 17 years old. Admission is primarily through entrance exams like NEET-UG, AIIMS Nursing, or state-level CETs. The curriculum covers subjects such as anatomy, physiology, medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, mental health, and community health, alongside clinical practice.
